Why You Should Book Your Engagement Session, Bridals, or Micro Wedding on the Oregon Coast
There’s something magnetic about the Oregon Coast. It’s wild, dramatic, soft, and powerful-just like the love stories I’m lucky enough to witness.Whether you're newly engaged, planning a micro wedding, or dreaming of romantic bridals, the Oregon Coast is the kind of backdrop that doesn’t just look beautiful, it feels beautiful. And that’s what I’m always chasing with my camera: a feeling you’ll want to relive again and again.

Why the Oregon Coast?
Variety in every direction: from moody cliffs and evergreen forests to wide-open beaches and golden grasslands, the coast offers so much within just a few miles. You can have an entire “runaway” styled session with multiple vibes, all in one day. I will help you map out a location that speaks to you, time of day to align with the powerful sunsets and recommendations of the downtown area for extra activities outside of our session together.
The warm color pallet + dreamy weather: overcast skies aren’t a curse, they're a gift. They soften harsh light, add mood, and spirals of oranges, browns and dusty blues. The result? Sun bursts of radiant colors and a continual feeling of intimacy as the waves and rock formations surround us.
Movement & emotion: wind-blown hair, long, flowing dresses dancing on the sand. Raw, natural emotion captured in a space that doesn’t demand perfection-only presence. Imagine, we walk over the sandy hills and are dropped into the vast space of the coast- this place is a continual reminder to slow down and enjoy. You hear the ocean and see as it leaves dark lines on the sand, you feel the wind on your face and between your fingers as you reach for your partner's hand. All you can see for miles are birds circling, the white breaks in the water and dark sand surrounding the towering rocks. This is it, just you and the love of your life. It's intimate by nature. Whether you elope with your partner or plan a micro wedding with your closest friends and family in an ocean side airbnb, the coast doesn’t overwhelm your moment-it amplifies it. It says: this is sacred, and it’s yours.

Things you should know:
Airports to the coast: If you are wanting to stay in Cannon Beach, Oregon, the main airport is Portland International Airport (about 2 hours of driving to the coast). The last hour of the drive can be winding, I highly suggest driving during the day as it can get foggy in the evening.
Drone usage can be limited. If you are wanting to add this to your package, I will help you find a location that allows drone use.
I recommend staying in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach, the Airbnbs are cute and there are great coffee shops as well as easy access to the coast. A cheaper alternative would be to stay in the Seaside area (about 15 minutes from downtown Cannon Beach)- still very cute!
Speaking of Airbnb’s- if you are wanting to plan a mirco-wedding, please reach out to hosts with detailed questions about the guests that will be attending. A lot of Airbnbs are helpful however, we want to make sure we are obeying and respecting all house rules.
Whether it’s an adventurous engagement session, bridals that feel like you’re the only people on earth, or a micro wedding rooted in deep intention, the Oregon Coast holds space for it all. It’s not just about taking pretty pictures, it’s about creating an experience that feels wildly you. If your heart is pulling you to the coast, I’m here to guide you, ground you, and capture it all with care.
